Based on last week's cargo prices, traders who can buy US natural gas and ship it to Europe stand to profit $133 million for just one cargo, which is 74% of the value of a 5-year-old TFDE carrier ($180 million). It's no surprise that the Baltic forward curve for a TFDE carrier prices in rates of $170,000/day in December.
