I uken som sluttet 23. mars ble det registret 5 flere aktive borerigger, viser fersk statistikk fra Baker Hughes.Det er nå 995 aktive rigger i USA, som er 186 flere enn samme uken i 2017.I Canada falt antall aktive rigger med 58 til totalt 161 i uken som sluttet 23. mars.Det er 84 færre enn samme uke i 2017.Internasjonalt viser tall at det var totalt 979 aktive borerigger per februar. Det var en oppgang på 19 rigger fra januar 2017, 38 flere enn aamme måned 2017.
