Samsung-topp igjen inne for avhør i korrupsjonssak

Sørkoreanske påtalemyndigheter har nok en gang innkalt Samsung-arvingen Lee Jae-yong til avhør i forbindelse med korrupsjonsskandalen i landet.

Det er mindre enn én måned siden en domstol i Seoul vedtok å ikke gi aktoratet medhold i at Lee skulle pågripes, men nå skal han igjen avhøres på grunn av nye bevis. På vei inn til avhør mandag morgen sa han at han ville fortelle sannheten, mens demonstranter ropte «Kast ham i fengsel!». Lee er assisterende styreleder og sønn av styreleder Lee Kun-hee. Lee junior styrer i praksis selskapet på grunn av farens skrantende helse.Nasjonalforsamlingen avgjorde i desember at president Park Geun-hye skal stilles for riksrett. Hun er involvert i korrupsjonsskandalen gjennom sin nære venninne Choi Son-sil, som skal ha beriket seg på en stiftelse hun kontrollerte og utnyttet sitt vennskap med presidenten til å presse store bedrifter, blant dem Samsung, for penger. Park skal ha bistått Choi med utpressingen og ha bedt medarbeidere lekke hemmeligstemplede dokumenter til Choi.(©NTB)
