General Electric får får bot på 500 millioner

EU-kommisjonen gir amerikanske General Electric 52 millioner euro i bot for å ha kommet med feilinformasjon i forbindelse med kjøpet av danske LM Wind.

Boten tilsvarer drøyt 500 millioner kroner.– Korrekt informasjon er avgjørende for at EU-kommisjonen skal kunne ta konkurransebeslutninger på et fullverdig faktagrunnlag, sier EUs konkurransekommissær Margrethe Vestager.Boten er ifølge henne ment å vise at EU-kommisjonen tar kravet om korrekt informasjon på største alvor. Selve kjøpet påvirkes ikke av beslutningen.(©NTB)
