BMW og Fiat Chrysler skal samarbeide

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles blir med i et samarbeid med blant andre BMW når det gjelder autonome biler.

BMW Group, Intel Corporation, Intel-selskapet Mobileye og Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) har signert en intensjonsavtale som betyr at FCA inngår i samarbeidet om å utvikle en plattform for autonom kjøring. Plattformen skal være skalerbar for selvkjørende biler på nivå 3 til nivå 4/5, fremgår det av en melding fra BMW.40 testkjøretøy skal være på veien innen utgangen av 2017.Bilene skal være klare for produksjon i 2021.
